Details: Summary: I crashed while flying over the lake in the middle of val. Unable to log back in to Ark Survival due a bugged steam update that is apparently fucking over many people. In discord with Graves and Sun when it happened and they are also both unable to log in. Time of event roughly 11pm 8/6/2019
I have been trying to get back in for over an hour but nothing is working. Looks like many others are locked out due to this steam update as well. I have to go to bed and go to work in 6 hrs now so I can't wait until its fixed. Unfortunately I was in a terrible spot to log out when my game crashed. Lulu Merot was also in discord and still on Val. He checked and found my quetzals but not my body so I know I fell into the water and died. There is no way that the game will be playable for me to get in and go back to my body to retrieve my stuff before my death bag is gone in 2 hours.
I had just left my inactive tribe (Kissi Bois) and made a new tribe (New Legacy) and was moving all of my stuff to start a new base. There are 4 300 slot capped tek quetzals floating over the water somewhere (direct line between kissi boi base 45/45 and whitecliffs. Maybe 60/55 ish). I think those will stay there until I can log back in tomorrow night.
My main concern is the stuff that was on me. Luckily I did not have anything too important in my own inventory. I think it was mostly mek ammo I had a bunch from the last impromptu event. I know it was about 200 slots when I took it out of my vault. I think 100 cannon shells and 100 rocket pods give or take.
I had a basic crafted tek suit I was wearing - tek helmet, tek chestpiece, tek gauntlets, tek leggings, and tek boots. Maybe 10 or 20 element on me to power it.
My hotbar had some high quality weapons that I've traded for.
1: Shotgun / Ascended / 710%
2: Chainsaw / Mastercraft / 250%
3: Sword / Ascended / 660%
4: empty
5: Fabricated Sniper Rifle / Ascended / 650%
6: Awesome Spyglass
7: Soul Gun
8: AA Helper Remote
9: Radio
10: Cooked Prime meat 200
If its possible to spawn those items for me again I would really appreciate it. Just my tek suit, mek ammos, element, and hotbar items number 1, 2, 3, and 5 are what I care about.
I have no base atm and no beds because I just left Kissi Bois and made New Legacy. I was headed to whitecliffs to start a new base. Perhaps you could find my 4 quetzals, force join my tribe New Legacy, and bring them to some random safe clifftop in whitecliffs. They each have 300 items on them, and I had about 200 of those mek ammos on me so its about 1400 items in limbo :O. If you could make a little 2 by 2 box with walls floor ceiling and put down 2 AA vaults and a bed that would be great. And maybe possibly can you move all that stuff from the quetzals into the 2 vaults and then soul orb the quetzals? I can't get on again until either late tomorrow night or Thursday and I'd cry if they die somehow with all that shit on them. It's so much stuff I couldn't possible remember what it all is.
I know this is a lot to ask. I can't believe that I crashed while moving. And over water too... and right when a bugged steam update had just happened... The bad luck is unreal
